Montrealers Tell George W. Bush What He Needs To Hear; If Only He’d Been Able

Here we have Montrealers telling Dubya what he needs to hear; of course, he was kept a respectable distance from any more potential shoe-tossing because, my God, he’s a sensitive soul.

Just ask his Poppy.

My thanks to every last protester who went out and represented—for themselves, for Quebecers, Canadians, for the idea of community and peace, ideals Bush cannot possibly know or claim to remember, child of abject privelige. If only he understood. He can’t, and of course Cheney chooses not to; how about his speech accusing Obama of “dithering”; isn’t that a favorite word used by Capt. Binghamton on McHale’s Navy? He was another guy who loved power for its own sake, wasn’t he?
