Here’s Cornette’s new column, in which he apologizes for having worked with Vince Russo, a recent subject here. I didn’t feel Cornette has anything to apologize for—that’s a tough business, and yet Cornette obviously felt very deeply the sense of personal shame over working under the same roof as Russo, which led him to write this piece. It’s moving and the writer truly humbles himself before the reader. I look foward to the day when, maybe in an airport or someplace, Cornette and Russo meet one more time. Or maybe I don’t. Nobody should have to spend one minute in jail over someone like Russo.
