From YouTube—A Racing Video Filled with Gems

Just click here and be transported back to a time when racing cars were much closer to what people drove on the street. Among the highlights: clips from Hartford and Illiana in the nineteen-sixties where you’ll see (among many others) #84, Bob Senneker, #1 Joy Fair, #44 which could’ve been Harold Smith or even Bob James that year, and #33 driven by the late, great John Anderson. There are also shots of the GONE Camaro of Ed Howe and the #99 of Dick Trickle, among the greatest ever. More to come, I bet. How well I recall some of these amazing machines. You’ll also see clips from the ’65 Daytona 500—again, simply amazing stuff. Enjoy—
