Some Images of American Racism: from A Trip Through Rebel America in 2010

Just back from the aforesaid journey—apparently I’ve been living in Canada long enough that I notice more acutely the semiotics of American signage, on T-shirts, billboards, and the like. I wanted to be upset. I wanted to deface everything I saw, but the fact is that these people are also victims. Yeah, I mean the Tea-baggers, too, for the most part. They’re victims of one of the worst educational systems on the planet, one which treats students like cars on an assembly line and does not bend for creative deviation. That isn’t education; it’s an image from The Wall.

But I did take some pictures….
