For Anyone Going Through a Colonoscopy: Here’s Dennis Wolfberg To Set You Straight

As part of the process of dealing with Cowden’s syndrome, you have to go through colonoscopies. I’ll be having one this coming Wednesday. More about that in soon-to-be-posted entries. They hurt, sure, but nothing like what Dennis Wolfberg describes in this pitch-perfect stand-up bit from One Night Stand. “It is to laugh,” people, and those of us who aren’t well must always remember that.

Yeah, Dennis died from cancer. All true. But he was trying, which is more than many of us can say. Are you 50? Arrange for one. The drugs are good. It’s not all uncomfortable, just most of it. But when it’s over, you’ll be surprised how well you’ll feel—especially if you get good news from your doctor.

Get one, folks, despite the above link.
