A Shout-Out To Scott Hall

As some of you might know, I was introduced to pro wrestling in early childhood. It was my grandfather’s favorite pastime; he was a stroke patient, he wore a brace and carried a cane, so he’d sit in his favorite chair when Studio Wrestling would air and shake that large blond cane at the heels, and growl sonofabitch, sonofabitch, sonofabitch.

Now you know where I get it from.

Anyway, some of you will remember Scott Hall. He’s a wrestler who’s fallen on hard times. I know some of you also know his name, so you understand what he’s up against. He’s clearly trying hard to get his life back together, and that by itself is encouraging to everyone else who might also be trying to get past whatever obstacles occur in life. Hall’s a true-life tough guy, and I root for him.

I hope you will, too.
